AlloTaxi was established in 1999 as the go-to source for all ground transportation in Lebanon. It originally launched as a fleet of 10 vehicles but within 16 years it has grown to 138 vehicles and today covers the whole Lebanese territory. Its 24/7 call-center receives over 1,500 calls a day, and completes around 2,000 journeys per day moving up to 6,000 people.
AlloTaxi approached Haulmont to find a bespoke system that could support the whole business and aid fleet growth. The company was previously running an off-the-shelf-system that caused issues as system restrictions prevented AlloTaxi from developing the business. The legacy system did not handle the whole business and could not adapt to new technologies such as apps and fleet management.
Sherlock was installed over a four month period by an on-site team of specialists, who trained over 150 drivers to ensure maximum positive up-take. The Sherlock solution provided bespoke development such as tailored data reports and multi-lingual support for both Arabic and English throughout the web portal, driver and consumer apps. Just six months later, AlloTaxi was so confident in Sherlock that it launched a new business into Luanda, Angola with a future vision to expand again into other cities.
